August Scrip Rep Get-togethers
We have plans to meet with you in August! I look forward to seeing you either in Phoenix on Sunday, August 17, or in Tucson on Sunday August 24, both weeks at 1 pm. (The location will be finalized this week.)

We want to thank you and put our heads together to see how we can best help you promote the program at your individual churches and schools. Please let us know ASAP if you are able to attend.

Inventory
We're at the end of July already! Please submit your inventory reports when you submit your sales this week so that it's easy to reconcile our records.

Scrip Agreement
There is a new Scrip agreement for the new school year. Supporters may fill it out online (it takes about 15 seconds), or you can provide the printed agreement (see link above) for them to sign and submit to ALA. I ask that all supporters read and agree to this as they purchase Scrip. Thanks.

Improvements
We are making some changes in the Scrip program this year:

We will distribute Scrip rebates TWO times this year. (See the Scrip Agreement for details.)
We will share a larger percentage of the Scrip rebates during certain months to be determined.
I am sending out monthly rebate progress reports so that supporters are reminded about what their Scrip purchases are accomplishing.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Printed Scrip Materials
I am in the process of updating the regular Q&A brochure. I also designed a new "virtual" Scrip flyer to explain how to purchase Scrip on computers and smart phones. Watch for these next week.

My next step is to design a bulletin insert.

Fresh & Easy Support
Fresh & Easy announced this week that they are now supporting schools through just eScrip program, just like Safeway does. I know Fresh & Easy is blasting their customers with this information. So when ALA supporters ask about how to support ALA with their Fresh & Easy card, please direct them to the ALA website to submit their number online, or record their number and send it to me in our weekly communication.

Thanks for staying up-to-date! Feel free to email me with any questions!

Heidi
