Greetings from the land of many languages! We welcomed six students from Brazil today, and they are a happy bunch! We also received news that we possibly may receive four more students from Scandinavia in the very near future! That would mean ALA is serving students from four continents, and at least EIGHT languages (English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Arabic, and Finnish/Swedish??) are spoken here. Stay tuned for further developments as ALA is given opportunity to do true mission work right here at home!!



Inventory
This is the last Sunday of August, and inventory reports are due. This link will get you to the form. Remember, do your inventory report immediately after submitting your sales. Do not wait until I send you new inventory this week. That only confuses things. I am comparing our numbers as of reported sales on Sunday.

Fry's

I am certain we will run out of Fry's cards this week. Please order as usual, and I'll send you what I can.



Promotional Flyers/Posters
I made good headway on updating our website with the new grocery store information. I have a few things left to do. Next on my list is the FAQ brochure. Unless inventory checks take too much time next week, I should be able to get that done and sent to you. Then I will do bulletin inserts/flyers after that. I found that many people were going to our website to find the new Fry's information, so I made that my first priority. Slowly but surely we'll get new information out to the people. Thanks for your patience!
