There a couple of things I need your assistance on to make the holiday season go smoothly:
1. Any cash that you submit to ALA should be identified. By that I mean attach a note to the cash noting whose order it is for. That is a HUGE help when I'm processing payments. This also applies to checks written for cash.
2. Orders must be in by 6 pm on Sundays. The Scrip company is very very busy these days, and the later I put in my order the later we get it, and that means you get it even later or not at all during the week.
3. Be sure to count your cards BEFORE distributing them. This will save you headaches later. You need to be certain that I sent you what is on the sheet before you pass them on to somebody else.
4. Finally, make sure you have the current order form, posted above. This ensures that you're collecting the right amounts for the cards and certificates. Note: Harkins 2015 cups are $5, not $4. The old 2014 cards were $4 on a sale we ran this summer. There have been several order forms since then. Be sure to destroy all old forms to avoid confusion for your supporters.
Also, be sure to tell your supporters that ALA is sharing 70% of the December rebates with them. And remember that ALA is issuing Scrip tuition credit in January, so now is the time to build up their rebates!
