School starts on Monday! And tomorrow is orientation day for new students! This sure felt like a very short summer.

Couriers

I will resume sending the Scrip with our student couriers if one is available for your church/school.

Fry's Gift Cards

We have about $25,000 of Fry's Scrip on hand, so please continue to order and sell it as usual.

Fry's Community Rewards

With the new school year prep I fell short in writing instructions for signing up for Community Rewards. The program actually starts September 1, so we are not missing out on any funds at this point. 

People can sign up by going to Frysfood.com and creating an account with their VIP card. From there they link their account to ALA so their Fry's shopping will benefit ALA beginning September 1.

American Express Cards

A question came up about stocking American Express gift cards. Credit card laws changed after the financial meltdown about 4 years ago. Part of the law change was that we cannot stock American Express gift cards. They can only be purchased and ordered, not stocked in our inventory. Your supporters can order them through you, and they have to be purchased immediately.
