Scrip Promotion
Earlier in the week I emailed you about the bulletin insert that is now available for use in your congregations. (See the link at the top of the blog.)
With the loss of the Fry's program, we ask you to be vigilant about keeping Scrip in front of our families so that they remember to purchase their needed cards from you each week. We also want to extend this program to new families so that they too can generate tuition credit for themselves or for families in their congregation. So I encourage you to use whatever promotional things I can create. Feel free to write blurbs for your bulletins, newsletter articles, and do verbal announcements in church. You'll find that many people do want to use Scrip, but they just forget. Help them develop the habit of Scrip, and they'll appreciate the dollars that come their way!
Keep in mind that it's not just families who have children in our WELS elementary schools or ALA who can buy Scrip. Everybody in your congregation can buy Scrip and "gift" their Scrip credit to a family in the congregation. Several of our ALA families received $1,000 in tuition credit because other Scrip users chose them for their Scrip credit.
Safeway Is Reloadable!ShopwithScrip has announced that Safeway is now a reloadable card! The card must be loaded at ShopwithScrip.com, NOT at the store. This is another great reason to point people to ShopwithScrip.com and all the options they have there for earning their Scrip tuition credit.
