Hello everybody!

Couple of things to note this week:

Fry's reloading

With my various absences this summer, please remind and encourage your Scrip supporters to take advantage of Fry's reloading program. At any Fry's store they can load up to $500 at a time onto their Fry's card, and then spend it on anything Fry's sells. Every reload earns 6% for ALA, and we can share that profit with them if they register their card with us. (Note that this only applies to cards originally purchased through ALA because those are the only cards linked to ALA.)

Our Scrip supporters reloaded to the tune of $76,000 in May, earning ALA a wonderful $4,500!

Encouraging reloading will eliminate some time from your volunteer position since you won't be tracking, selling, and submitting the reports and payments for plastic cards. It also will help ALA reduce postage expenses this summer. And it's WAY more convenient for supporters to reload at any time at the store rather than tracking you down to purchase more plastic cards.
