April 5, 2013

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We were very grateful when it was over because Easter is pretty intense at our house. Scott preached all but Maundy Thursday, and Andrew and I handled the music side of all the services. Monday was a much-needed quiet day at home.

Inventories
Because of the short week I was not able to get to your inventories yet, though I have high hopes of reconciling your numbers with mine this afternoon. We shall see how the interruptions go. Stay tuned for my questions!

In-N-Out Burger update
A question came up regarding In-N-Out Burger cards this week. They are not available at Fry's. I purchase In-N-Out Burger Scrip directly from their headquarters in Irvine, CA. In-N-Out limits each school to 250 cards per school year, and we have sold almost all of those cards. I have a couple more in stock again, and there are about 45 cards in your inventories. Thank you to those who responded to my need for the cards this week!

ScripNow!

More and more of our families are taking advantage of services offered at ShopwithScrip.com. But there are questions about payment for ScripNow! and Scrip reloads at SWS. Here's the scoop:

1. Customers can sign up for PrestoPay at SWS. PrestoPay debits their checking or savings account for their Scrip purchase plus a 15 cent fee.

PrestoPay is completely safe as it utilizes the banking industry's ACH process. When customers have a PrestoPay account they will receive their ScripNow! and Scrip reloads immediately. They also can place orders for physical cards and pay with PrestoPay, eliminating the need to submit money to you/ALA.

2. Customers can choose to pay with check (this includes cash or credit for our purposes). This means they will need to submit a check to you or to me at ALA. They will not receive their ScripNow! or Scrip reload until I learn of their order and have time to release it to them. I get notifications at midnight when these orders are placed.

If you have any questions about any of the above, feel free to leave a comment below so that everyone can benefit from the answer. Have a great week!
